To shape a fairer economy for musicians, raise money for the charities they care about most and contribute towards a greener planet.
We are a tight-knit team with decades of experience in the creative industries.
Our focus is to provide the best possible outcome for musicians through encouraging creative collaboration and opening up an entirely new revenue stream.
We know first hand the challenges musicians face today – working multiple jobs and often splitting time on tasks that can take away from being creative. We wanted to build a platform where musicians can express more about the music and provide fans with a closer look at the story behind their work. We wanted to build a platform on the greenest network available, where the music comes first.
From speaking to hundreds of musicians across the world, we also recognised the wide array of issues that musicians care deeply about and for every dollar our platform makes on transactions, a dollar can be donated to a chosen charity.
University College London (UCL) published a research paper in late 2021 comparing the environmental impacts of different distributed ledger technologies (DLTs).
The paper examined the energy consumption of six DLTs: Algorand, Cardano, Ethereum 2.0, Hedera Hashgraph, Polkadot, and Tezos.
UCL found that Hedera Hashgraph had the lowest overall energy consumption.
